• Act as the communication bridge between Japanese clients and the Vietnamese development team, ensuring all information is conveyed accurately and completely.

• Analyze and convert client requirements from Japanese into clear, detailed technical documents for the development team.

• Join meetings with clients to gather requirements, clarify technical issues, and report project progress.

• Manage and coordinate the technical activities of the team, ensuring quality and on-time delivery in accordance with client expectations.

• Review and verify technical documents, source code, and test cases before delivery to the client.

• Support in resolving complex technical issues and consult clients on appropriate solutions.

• Train and mentor team members on workflows, coding standards, and Japanese business culture.

• Prepare reports and documents in Japanese for presentation to client stakeholders and management.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• 4+ years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years as a BrSE or in a similar role.

• Experience working with Japanese clients in offshore development projects.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects for the Japanese market.

Language Skills

• Japanese: JLPT N2 or higher (required)

  • Proficient in business communication

  • Able to read and comprehend technical documents and specifications

  • Capable of writing professional emails, reports, and documentation

  • Confident presentation skills for client meetings

  • Deep understanding of Japanese business etiquette and work culture

• English: Good command for reading technical documentation and communicating with internal teams.

Technical Skills

• Programming Knowledge: Solid understanding of languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or PHP.

• Web Development: Experience with frontend (React, Vue.js, Angular) and backend frameworks.

• Database: Proficient in SQL and database design; familiarity with NoSQL databases.

• System Design: Ability to design system architecture and propose technical solutions.

• Testing: Knowledge of testing processes, test planning, and quality assurance.

• Tools & Methodologies: Familiar with Agile/Scrum, Git, Jira, and other development tools.

Management & Leadership Skills

• Project Management: Capable of planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.

• Team Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring teams of 3–8 developers.

• Risk Management: Ability to identify risks early and provide mitigation plans.

• Quality Control: Ensure that all deliverables meet standards and client expectations.

• Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships and manage expectations with clients.

Soft Skills

• Communication: Excellent at facilitating communication among stakeholders with different technical and cultural backgrounds.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking for resolving complex issues efficiently.

• Cultural Bridge: Deep understanding of the cultural differences between Vietnamese and Japanese work environments.

• Adaptability: Flexible in handling changing requirements and working under tight deadlines.

• Attention to Detail: Careful and thorough in reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of all deliverables.
