Primary Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and manage customer requirements.
• Create and maintain requirement specification documents, user stories, and screen designs.
• Design wireframes, mockups, and user flows for application development.
• Act as a bridge between customers, development teams, and other stakeholders.
• Manage change requests and conduct impact analysis.
• Participate in customer meetings to clarify and validate requirements.
• Review and validate deliverables to ensure alignment with approved requirements.

Specific Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and propose optimized solutions.
• Prepare functional specification documents and detailed screen designs.
• Design database schemas and data flows in collaboration with the Tech Lead.
• Create test scenarios and acceptance criteria for the QA team.
• Support the Project Manager in effort estimation and project planning.
• Ensure full requirement traceability from business needs to implementation.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software projects (no restriction on business domain).
• Experience working with Japanese clients is a plus.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with common methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Documentation: Proficient in creating BRD, FSD, user stories, and wireframes.
• Design Tools: Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Balsamiq, or similar tools.
• Analysis: Strong skills in business process analysis, data modeling, and workflow design.
• Database: Basic understanding of database design and SQL.
• Web Technologies: Knowledge of frontend/backend architecture, APIs, and responsive design.

Soft Skills

• Japanese Language: N3 level or above, with the ability to communicate directly with clients.
• Communication: Strong presentation skills and ability to facilitate meetings.
• Problem Solving: Logical thinking with effective problem analysis.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy and meticulousness in documentation.
• Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
