Responsibilities

Act as a bridge between Japanese clients and the development team
Support requirement analysis, clarify specifications, and communicate with stakeholders
Participate in design activities (Basic Design / Detailed Design) and documentation
Coordinate project progress, track issues, and support on-time delivery
Review deliverables (documents, test results, etc.) to ensure quality
Support testing activities and handle issue clarification
Participate in estimation or presales activities when needed

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields
5+ years of experience as BrSE or similar role
Experience working with Japanese clients

Language Skills

Japanese: JLPT N2 or above (business communication)
Able to communicate effectively in meetings and documentation
English: basic working level

Skills & Knowledge

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (especially Waterfall / SI model)
Experience in requirement analysis and system design (basic level or above)
Experience in tracking progress and ensuring delivery quality
Good communication and coordination skills

Nice-to-have

Experience in enterprise or large-scale systems
Experience with Japanese SI projects
Experience in estimation or presales
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude) for work support
